AUSTIN, TX – March 27, 2014With more than 140 million unique monthly visitors, Indeed has surpassed the competition as the #1 job site in the world transforming the way people get hired.

Year on year growth for the company showed a 40% increase in unique monthly visitors over the same period in January. In addition, the company showed major growth in the mobile space with 45% of searches coming from the company’s mobile app and through the mobile website.

For more than nine years, Indeed has been changing the way candidates find the right job and employers find the right candidates. Job seekers trust Indeed to find all jobs in a single search – with 16 million jobs available on and more than 8 jobs added each second. As the top source for employers, Indeed currently has 25 million resumes available and 15 million added in the last year. Indeed’s mission is to connect job seekers with the right employer. With more than 4 million reviews of employers on the Indeed site, job seekers can learn more about an employer before deciding to interview for or accept a role with a company. In addition, these employer reviews also allow the companies themselves to see and understand what candidates are looking for when applying.  According to research commissioned by Indeed, 83% of users said that reviews influence their decision of where to apply and 46% said that company reputation has a big influence on the decision to accept a job.
